Our doctors
Steven P. Consoer, O.D.
Dr. Consoer grew up in Eagan, Minnesota before leaving to attend college at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. After graduating with a degree in health sciences he attended the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 1979. He started his practice the following year in Shakopee, Minnesota. Over the next 29 years his practice has grown to include three locations in the south metro. Dr. Consoer’s interests include contact lenses, glaucoma, refractive surgery co-management, as well as general eye care needs of all ages. He currently maintains office hours in all three locations. Dr. Consoer lives in Shakopee with his wife Sherrie and three sons. Outside of the office, he enjoys skiing, fishing and time with his family.
Arica A. Logeais, O.D.
Dr. Arica Logeais, originally from Shakopee, received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1998. During her optometric education, she did several externships throughout the United States, with emphasis in contact lenses and ocular disease. She practices in both the Shakopee and Chanhassen locations. Dr. Logeais is an active member of the Minnesota Optometric Association and Shakopee Dollars for Scholars. Her interests include contact lenses, dry eye disease, refractive surgery, diabetes, glaucoma and pediatrics. Dr. Logeais lives in Jordan with her husband, Matt, and children, Luke and Claire.
Jason J. Stensos, O.D.
Jason Stensos is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry in 2004. Upon finishing school, he spent a year with the Boston Veteran’s Hospital doing an ocular disease residency. Moving to Minnesota in the summer of 2005, he joined our practice at this time. He sees patients primarily in the Chanhassen location, but does spend one day each week in Shakopee, and Bloomington. His areas of interest include contacts, dry eye, pediatrics, refractive surgery co-management, and ocular disease (diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts). Jason lives in Chanhassen with his wife Brandi. He enjoys golf, fishing, and hunting with his dog (Jeter).
Brian J. Snyder, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Brian Snyder grew up in Des Moines, Iowa before leaving to attend college at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. After spending two years in the workforce, Dr. Snyder returned to school at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and graduated cum laude in 2002. Dr. Snyder was accepted into a post graduate fellowship with the Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minneapolis and spent a year in advanced training for cataract and refractive surgery co-management, anterior segment disease and glaucoma. Dr. Snyder joined our clinic in spring 2006 and currently spends most of his clinic time at our Oxboro Eye Clinic in Bloomington. Dr. Snyder is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and an active member of the Minnesota Optometric Association. Outside of clinic, Brian lives in Saint Paul and enjoys cooking, travel and spending time with his wife and three sons.
Brooke (Heineman) Bush, O.D.
Dr. Brooke Bush grew up in Southeastern Minnesota. She graduated from Luther College with a biology degree. She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Bush joined the practice in March 2009 and is seeing patients at our Bloomington and Shakopee clinics. Her special interests include contact lenses and dry eye management. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and knitting. Dr. Bush lives in Eden Prairie with her husband Adam.
